Kavita Singh, Art Historian - Chairman
Kavita is Associate Professor at the School of Arts and Aesthetics, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. Her teaching and research interests include the history and politics of the museum in India, and painting, particularly of the late Mughal period. She has published on Sikh art, Indian folk and courtly painting, and museums. Her current work on the place of museums in post-Independence India is supported by a grant from the Getty Foundation. 

A. Srivathsan, Architectural Historian, Critic & Architect - Vice Chairman
Srivathsan is Deputy Editor, The Hindu and is on the adjunct faculty of Asian College of Journalism and School of Architecture and Planning, Anna University , Chennai. After completing his doctoral research on Temple towns of Tamil Nadu, he taught and practised as an architect before shifting to journalism. He has worked and published on contemporary Indian architecture, heritage issues and urban studies.

Annapurna Garimella, Designer & Art Historian - Founder & Managing Trustee
Annapurna is a designer and art historian and founded A.R.T. in 2001. She also works with Jackfruit Research & Design in Bangalore. Her current research interests include questions of heritage, contemporary visual cultures and medieval Indian art and architecture. She has edited several publications and written articles including Mulk Raj Anand – Shaping the Indian Modern, MARG Publications (2005) and Akbar Padamsee (upcoming).

Lina Vincent, Printmaker & Art Historian - Treasurer
Lina has a BA in printmaking from the Chitrakala Parishath, Bangalore and a MA in art history from Chitrakala Institute of Advanced Studies. She has worked with art galleries, local print media and Jackfruit Research & Design. Her research interests include Buddhist art and the history of modern printmaking in India.

Jayna Kothari, Lawyer & Legal Scholar - Trustee & Legal Counsel
Jayna is a lawyer and heads Ashira Law in Bangalore. She has done work on women and family law and intellectual property issues in the context of art making.

Baishali Ghosh, Art Historian - Trustee
Baishali is Assistant Professor at the Department of Fine Arts, School of Performing Art, Fine Arts and Communication,University of Hyderabad, Hyderabad. Her teaching and research interests include the history and politics of the art education in India, visual culture in art institutions and terracotta sculptures of pre-colonial India. She has published on terracotta sculptures and art history in academia. Her doctoral thesis, supported by Nehru Trust Travel Grant, is about the religious structures of late medieval Bengal and the question of identity.
